The Summer Term finishes for pupils on Friday 16th July. Staff will be having an Inset Day on Monday 19th July and the school will be closed to pupils.

 

It's great to see so many pupils in Breakfast Club in the canteen. Remember, the doors open at 8.15 and the last entry is at 8.30.

 

Dinner money payment
Following BCBC guidelines on the payment of dinner money, I have to inform you that if a meal is ordered and not cancelled by 10.30, it must still be paid for. We still have some parents at risk of being referred to the LEA debt collectors because of non-payment of arrears. Please pay any outstanding dinner money immediately or
contact school if you are having difficulties.

We are proud of our school and we hope that your child's time here will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience.

Nottage Primary School is situated in the popular seaside town of Porthcawl, about ten minutes' walk from the promenade. Porthcawl has beautiful views, a variety of beaches and the nature reserve at Kenfig is right on our doorstep. The town boasts a range of retail outlets and its very own funfair!

Nottage Primary School is a large primary school surrounded by extensive grounds. We have a conservation area and we are in the process of building a pond. We have large outdoor play areas and a sensory garden. There is an outdoor classroom which is used for a range of activities.

 

The school is divided into:

The Foundation Phase: Age 3-7

Key Stage Two: Age 8-11

 

Opening Hours: 8.55-3.30pm (Nursery hours vary according to the type of nursery place you have chosen. )

ATTENDANCE

Please notify the school if your child is absent so that it can be authorised.If you do not inform the school we will contact you. I would also like to remind parents that pupils are only entitled to TEN days holiday during the school year. We have been asked by our EWO to monitor any pupils taking more than ten days holiday.
