Sport

We have a strong sporting ethos at Nottage Primary School and we encourage our pupils to take part in a wide range of physical activity. Some is done in lessons and some is done as an extra-curricular activity.

We welcome spectators for our annual sports days which take place during the summer term, weather-permitting!

The emphasis is on participation and equal opportunies and we hope to provide suitable activities for all tastes and abilities.

FOOTBALL

On June 23rd, our football team played in the Brandon Lau Cup. This was played on the astro turf at Porthcawl Comprehensive School.

Mr. Ashton's half time team talk!!!

It was a fast, tense and exciting game played in hot, sunny, uncomfortable conditions, against the Year 7 pupils from Porthcawl Comprehensive School.

Phew! It's hot work!

Although the Nottage team were trailing 2-0 at half time, we came back in the second half with a brilliant goal from Charlie Noble. The final score was 3-1 to Porthcawl Comprehensive school.

Thank you and well done to all who played!
